Guild Wars crafting is true crafting. No armor is dropped from any creatures so collecting crafting items from either players or creatures is needed and then using an NPC crafter to make the armor piece for you. Many armor sets increase with the levels so you will want to change your armor as you level up. These are the available items that can be found.
Available items:

* Headgear – Warrior: Helmets, Ranger: Mask, Mesmer: Mask (ala Zorro), Elementalist: Tiara, Monk: Scalp Designs, Necromancer: Facial Scars. Each piece of equipment has statistical advantages.
* Weapons – Swords, Hammers, Axes, Staves, Bows and Wands
* Shields – Can be used by any profession, but are more effective when used by a Warrior.
* Dye – Allows the dying of armor and weapons (can mix colors together)
* Crafting Materials – Used to craft equipment
* Portable Salvage Item – Allows the salvaging of materials.

Here is an example of Guild Wars Crafting GW Craftings Information submitted by our community.  (Note this information is not valid and should be considered nerfed)

alright follow these steps to cast a spell but it looks like you are standing still
1)find a spell you want to cast (lets say one that cost 5 energy)
2)Make sure you have enough energy to cast the skill twice (If it costed 5 ene. have at least 10 ene.)
3)Begin to cast your spell
4)As the green bar showing how much longer you have to wait for the skill comes up, cast the spell (hit the number) again.

It will make it look like you are standing still, not casting. It only takes the energy to cast it once. ONLY useful in PvP when people have skills like "Power Spike" and wait for you to cast something, it looks like you are standing there!
