SWTOR Bots So Far

Thursday, December 22nd, 2011

SWTOR BOts

Here is a list of all the current Star Wars The Old Republic bots on the market and how you can start using them for your own gaming pleasure.

– The first SWTOR bot released so far is a simple anti afk bot. These anti afk bots will allow you to stay in the game. These are extremely helpful when the servers are at over capacity and you have to wait upwards of an hour to just log into the game. Instead these anti afk bots make it look like you are playing and doing rather mundane tasks. Such as walking around town or jumping up and down. While these are not very advanced they are great for players that dont want to be logged off or want to leech in PvP areas.

– The second is going to be a swtor farming macro. While these are not in depth leveling bots you might be accustomed to in world of warcraft or lineage 2, they still serve a nice purpose. They allow you to do basic farming in the game and help you level. You cant pick what mobs to kill but you can pick when you heal, and just let the macro run around in a specific area killing minor mobs. These can be useful if you are trying to just farm a low level mob for a specific item, or helping you level by killing a few minor mobs in the game.

– The third released bot so far is a basic crafting bot. This bot can be set up to do some of the boring crafting tasks that come with all MMOs out there. It would be far more fun if MMOs has a fun mini game when it came to crafting. Something along the lines of Bioshock when you lock pick. This would allow you to enjoy crafting more and if you are really good, craft even better items. Anyways its a nice time saver.

– The final bot on the market is a swtor resource gathering macro. This will allow your player to run from point a to point b. Harvest the resources you can, then move onto a new area. This is great as well because it can help you skip the grind thats require to start farming resources in the game.

So there is the entire list of current bots on the market. The big one is going to be the leveling bot released by the people over at MMOViper soon.

The Free SWTOR Bots are Coming

Monday, December 12th, 2011

Free SWTOR Leveling BotsSo with the soon to be released star wars the old republic MMO, that means bots are coming quickly. Here we can chat about bots already out there and ones that will be soon to come.

To start there is already some basic bots out there. TaultUnleashed for example has some basic afk macro bots to keep you in the game and stop you from actually being logged out. As well there is a nice ranged farming bot. Its extremely basic, but with the simplicity allows you to be undetected by more advanced means of detection in the game.

For upcoming more advanced bots you are going to want to check out MMOViper. MMOViper has already created major farming and leveling bots for games such as warhammer online which is an EA owned game, just like SWTOR. This means that when it comes to detection policies MMOViper will not be detected in SWTOR. The SWTOR has not been officially announced, but here are some facts we have gotten about what the bot will be able to do in the near future.

MMOViper SWTOR Leveling Bot Perks.

– Select skills you want to use for farming.
– Set what mobs you want to hunt for.
– Set what loot you want the bot to farm.
– Set the path you want to farm around in the game.
– Decide when the bot will heal you
– Select what types of anti detection you want in the bot.

Those are only a few of all the features for the MMOViper farming bot thats soon to come out.

Star Wars The Old Republic Xbox 360 Version

Star Wars The Old Republic Xbox 360 EditionStar Wars The Old Republic Coming To Xbox 360?
Will the star wars the old republic MMO be coming out for the xbox 360 in the near future? Im very interested in this game but I’m not a fan of paying for a game online with a subscription model. So my question is can i get this game for the 360 eventually and if i can will i be able to get around all the game fees that they charge for it? Also they have proven that a game like this will be great with the previous entries in the series.

Best answer:
Well you have a few parts to your question so let me try to answer them all. For starters there is no information on this game being released for the xbox 360. While bioware has released some amazing games over their time line and a majority of them have been released for the 360 nothing has been said about making this game available to people that want it in the 360. They may announce it at a later time but nothing as it stands has been posted yet. Also something that will hold them back for it is xbox live.

Microsoft feels that if someone wants to use their online network they need to join xbox live. However mmo developers want a piece of that pie which Microsoft is not going to give anyone any time soon. So a lot of mmos will not come out on the 360 just because developers think if they have to charge people to play the game it will hurt them. Also there is a rumor that Microsoft wants some of the online subscription fees that are being charged to developers for this game.

As for a subscription price you will always have that no matter where the game goes. Look at final fantasy 11 that game has been released on multiple consoles and all of them charge a monthly fee. The fee is charged to maintain the servers, add new content, and supply the game with updated patches. While they might be charging a high price for monthly they do so because it costs many million of dollars in order to get a mmo released that is quality.

Also you hate paying monthly fees but if you want to play the game on the 360 dont you pay for xbox live which is in either monthly quarterly, or annually (yearly). Its the same thing just they charge it a different way to you.

Well i hope that answers your question on star wars the old republic coming to the xbox 360.

Star Wars The Old Republic In Depth Look At Combat

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

This video alone shows you how damage in star wars the old republic mmorpg is going to change versus all other mmos.

This first big thing is how the combat is speed wise. Instead of of the normal game where you go up against someone and you both keep hitting each other and you cast the same spell over and over again you instead will be able to do different things.

First of all characters will actually interact with each other. With most mmos like world of warcraft when you attack someone you are both doing independent actions. So you cast a spell and then if it hits the opponent he does he routine animation. In swtor you will actually interact with that character based on what you do. So for example if you are fighting someone with a light saber and you use yours on him they may clash and sparks will fly out. Also you will have animations going on all around you for when you block enemies. So its not just going to be an animation for blocking the player in front of you. There is a chance you will block opponents from behind and youll have another separate animation.

Another big change is the fact you have a cover system. The cover system allows you to hide from enemy fire by hiding behind a variety of objects in the game. The spot where you where you can take cover is going to be marked by a light green silhouette of your character.

Also star wars the old republic is going to have a much faster fighting style than most mmos. Instead of the routine i attack him up close and he does to. You will be moving around, having different animations happen depending on where you block and hit opponents and more.

Whats best of all is this is just the early build of the game. There is so much more going to happen in games. They are going to take the physics that where on darkfall to a new level. So you will be doing damage based on what you hit and where you hit unlike most mmos that just have a dice roll being played out.

Prepare for one of the best MMOs to be coming out next year. And the current beta is going on right now. The force is with you.

SW:ToR – Developer Blog & Advanced Class System

Saturday, May 15th, 2010

Welcome ladies and gents to the next set of updates for one of the most anticipated upcoming games. The Old Replublic!

This update brings you the Advanced Class System and a new Developer Blog introducing for the first time to the Star Wars Expanded Universe, The Voss.

The Advanced Class System looks similar to the Expertise System from Star Wars Galaxies, where you have a certain amount of points. You spend points in the basic section of your class, then you can add to that by spending points in an Advanced section. Looks good to me so far! At least this way there will be somewhat some differences between player characters.

The Developer Blog is based on introducing a new planet and species to the Star Wars Universe, the Voss. Have a read of the article. It’s a long one, but definitely worth the read.

Here are the links to the ToR updates. Enjoy 🙂

SW:ToR – Blood of the Empire #2

Thursday, May 13th, 2010

This update brings you the next segment of the Blood of the Empire comic. I wish I had more to say about this update, but simply… I don’t. I just never got in to the comics much     at all. I much prefer updates on the game itself. Hence the reason why I’m excited to bring you news of a large number of previews across different sites.

I’ll be adding those updates shortly.

Here is the link for the web-comic: http://www.swtor.com/news/news-article/20100507_001
